Your interviewer is looking for candidates who have identified this position as a long-term career opportunity. So they'll be evaluating your passion for the industry and your career satisfaction. "Our careers are journeys paved with richness, accomplishments, and a few beers and ciders with friends or strangers along the way." Questions that ask what your goals are for the next three to five years directly refer to whether you've developed a three or five-year career plan.
