"Innovation in the IT industry occurs at a very rapid pace. Staying informed about new technological developments is challenging. I accomplish this by subscribing to industry news services, blogs, and newsletters. I am a member of some local user groups, and I take the time to meet with other IT engineers in my organization to share information and best practices. Each year, I also attend several industry events and meet with the leading technology providers to learn about their planned product innovations. This has helped me stay ahead of developments in the industry, and I would continue these practices if hired by Cisco."
