How do you stay motivated and how would you ask your manager to support you?

There are many ways BC Hyrdo strives to motivate its' employees including leadership training programs and continuing education. Those types of motivation for career growth are important, however, keeping motivated in the day-to-day is equally as important. This question seeks to explore how you can stay motivated during those times and how BC Hyrdo can best support you.

"I like to know that my efforts are being noticed. That could be through words of praise or additional responsibilities that I have expressed interest in. I like to be publically recognized for my efforts which also include recognition rewards."

"I respond very well to positive feedback and praise. I appreciate it when my manager or peers notice how hard I am working. I also admire when my manager shows complete trust in my work and trusts me to follow through. My last supervisor was very approachable and trusted I would get my job done and that I would come to her if I hit a roadblock or had questions."
