"In each of my previous roles, my team was responsible for creating an effective disaster recovery strategy. These involved redundant systems, replicating data, having both on-site and off-site DR systems, and creating a plan for how the business users would access the information technology systems and data in the case of a disaster. We collaborated with the business unit leaders to create this plan, using their input as to what resources their users would need in a disaster and where they would access them from. In my most recent organization, we contracted with a backup organization that could provide workspaces for our users with all the IT systems they needed to do their jobs and access the backup servers, storage, and data in our DR facility."
