"I rate my communication skills as a 9/10 as I will, on occasion, have times when I am not as clear as I would like to be. My faculty will attest to my clear and concise communication skills. Because I am an open communicator, my coworkers and students will let me know if I need to clarify anything."

I would rate this skill 8 because I give a lot of importance to effective communication; teaching is a profession that solely relies on communication. For example, I need to communicate with students whether it is giving lessons or feedback; writing emails to parents or phone calls; keeping documentation regarding student achievements, assignments, behaviors; sending emails to other staff and colleagues is also important.
