This 'getting to know you' question can offer a glimpse into your personality. What do you want to say about yourself when questions like these come up? It's common for someone to experience 'the spirit of the stairway' after an interview (the moment where you wish you had said something different in hindsight). So don't waste this opportunity. A good sell, and a good idea, is to find a universal text book you'll likely be required to learn from in your first semester, regardless of the school. Exhibiting you are already trying to advance your studies sends the signal that you take this opportunity very seriously, and you are anxious to get a head start towards success.
If that isn't something you think you'll do, then consider what the book you are reading, or you'll think you'll be reading at the time of your interview, says about you. Be prepared to elaborate on your thoughts and what motivated you to choose that material to read. What do you want it to say about you? If you're not reading a book, share one that impacted you, and be prepared to elaborate on why.

"Currently I am reading 'Ego is the Enemy' by Ryan Holiday. It is a book about ambition, resilience, and success. I feel that everyone should read it - it comes highly recommended."
