"I would like to see healthcare become more efficient and economic for patients. Healthcare today has become a corporate structure to try and provide ease of access to specialties and services. However, the complex web seems to be too difficult for most patients to understand, and even afford. Working in the Emergency Department I have witnessed this first hand. Patients feel they are being bounced from one provider to another, without resolution. Healthcare services need to be more streamlined and incorporate more transparent communication among providers to reduce patient care time and costs."
