"I've been called an over-achiever more than once, and I suppose being awarded with a chance to grow and develop my career with consistency is a major motivator for me. Also, working in a beautiful place, as well as working outdoors. But most of all, working with leadership and teams where they really care and look out for each other. Empathy, words of kindness, encouragement, and recognition are worth a lot. That, more than anything, makes you feel like you are a part of something bigger than yourself."

Beyond heavily focusing their efforts on sustainability, Teck advertises that they have a lot to offer when it comes to helping their employees sustain a strong work-life balance, with many positions even offering remote work, and even a compressed work week with alternating Fridays off.
They also advertise, "We live and work in some of the world's most incredible locations. This, combined with the work schedules that support work/life balance, allows you to get the most out of your time off to do the things you love, against a backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, the Alaskan wilderness, the Atacama Desert, and other incredible locations around the world. Outdoor adventures at your fingertips. Whether it's biking and skiing, or the laid-back atmosphere of fishing and hiking, there is something for everyone!"

I think recognition for a job well done is important to facilitate further growth, both personal and career-wise. Therefore, any words of praise or recognition from a co-worker, supervisor, or mentor would be a great motivation for me.
Marcie's Feedback
Nice! Receiving verbal praise always feels great. You might also mention written praise, positive feedback from your manager, financial bonuses/rewards, perks like extra time off, or public recognition/celebrations if any of these methods also resonate with you. Also, to further build out your answer consider briefly explaining why words of praise motivate you. Good job!

A kind word for a well-done job from a supervisor or a mentor is enough for me. This usually would reinstate in me the value that I could add to the organization.
