"I would say that I talk with everyone on my teams at least once a day. Even when not in a leadership position, I think it is important to perform check-ins. Otherwise, you'll end up being in the dark about your team's morale, their interpretation of the company vision, or the capabilities of their leadership. Without offering your ear and transparent input, you'll also quickly lose their trust. It's also important to discuss work with colleagues in a collaborative nature to encourage all types of ideas to come forth. Often, when people put their heads together, they will create something better than something one individual could have done alone. This way, everyone has a voice."

I have an open line of communication in my team where anyone can freely share their ideas and/or concerns and then we can all work together to build on such ideas and implement them if I feel that it is beneficial to the team.
Marcie's Feedback
Great! Do you encourage this type of communication during weekly meetings? How about during work lunches or in private discussions? In other words, do you initiate conversations that will spur innovation or do you wait for the ideas to fall on your lap? Try to show the interviewer that you actively seek out new ideas and ways to improve processes. Nice job!

It's always good to work as a team, it brings out the best in any operational environment. I am always open to ideas from others and always ready to discuss new ideas that I have too.

Jaymie's Feedback
Your answer shows that you're a team player and enjoy working with others to increase innovation and creativity. Can you speak about how often you would do this with the team? Did any important concept, system, or process change come from your collaboration?
