"I've been told that I can be compulsively honest, and my wife reminds me that I'm the worst liar in the world. I approach everything with transparency. For example, if someone asks me how I'm doing, and I'm feeling a little tired and cranky, I'll be honest rather than saying I'm just fine. I am a transparent individual. This helps avoid any miscommunication, such as coworkers misinterpreting nonverbal cues. My character is also formed by my integrity. So, whenever I feel it is the right thing to do to speak up and be honest, even if I wasn't asked, I will take the ethical road forward at speed."
As they state on their website, "Teck Resources Limited is committed to transparency, that means full disclosure." They also specify that they consider honesty, integrity, and respect as intertwined.
