"In one of my reviews, I received feedback that I didn't delegate enough and therefore, it made it seem like I didn't trust my colleagues. I really took that feedback to heart. I took a look at my work load, which was really high, and made some priority buckets. There was one bucket of work that was very low risk and I distributed it to my team. One team member did a really great job so I was able to give her some of the more complex projects."

At work, I used to attend one-to-one meetings and appraisal meetings. It was highlighted that I work on my own perfectly well, but need to delegate my workload more. I took this on board and involved my colleague in some of the meetings I couldn't attend.
