Who is your role model and why?
Those who are accepted in Siemens Finance Excellent Program will be mentored by one of the Divisions CFOs. One of their core mottos is "The best results are not achieved alone." A candidate's role model, or figure of inspiration, will offer a glimpse into their personality, philosophy, and approach to life and work. They'll examine the examples offered and consider how well a candidate will work with one of their leaders. This may also help them pair them with the type of leader who best matches an applicant's inspiration, based on their ideals, helping that leader better serve as a role model for them through the experience.
Your life's inspiration can come from a book, a mentor, your family, a celebrity, an author - anyone! Talk to the interviewer about who has inspired your life and why. Be relatable and try to inspire conversation. How well you get along with your interviewer will also offer insights on how well you will get along with the mentor they place you with.
Before answering this question, look at Siemens' website about page, and read up on their senior management. It may serve as a guideline. Think of those who inspired you. Explore if they embody some of the same qualities as Siemens' senior management. Inspirational people motivate us to keep going when we feel like giving up. They're passionate and driven, accomplishing goals that seem impossible, starting new ventures with new ideas that change the way we view the world. You can talk about a mentor, family member, or even a celebrity who has inspired you in your career.
