"I think it's so unique that one of Lidl's guiding principles is to grow through continuous improvement in their stores. I've worked for companies in the past that stick to the status quo and are really afraid of branding out and trying new things -- and I don't think that's a successful strategy for long term growth. I like Lidl's approach much more, and it makes me excited to know that Lidl is committed to transparency with their employees so that everyone always knows what's happening in the company and how they can contribute to the company's success."

I am so impressed by Lidl's commitment to environmental responsibility. I could not believe the amount they do to offset their carbon footprint and that they strive to have no waste in landfills. That they saw Ireland's limitation in recycling black plastic and worked to that is amazing. It is rare and wonderful to see this attitude, and I hope other companies can learn and follow in their footsteps.
