"I'm rejoining the workforce for the first time in about twenty years because I took some time to raise my family, and I know that the retail industry has changed dramatically since the last time I was a retail worker. Even though I'm nervous, I like to see challenges as opportunities instead of inconveniences, which is why I'm looking to rejoin the retail workforce in the first place. I'm really eager to get started, nerves and all!"

I can be shy at first and sometimes struggle with my confidence. I have worked hard on this in the last few years and actively try to be more outgoing. A new team and a new job make me feel a bit nervous, but nerves can be good too sometimes, and I am eager for a career change and ready to dive into the challenge.

Rachelle's Feedback
Your answer is very honest, which the interviewer should appreciate. Most people are nervous about changes such as starting a new job. However, you do a great job pointing out the benefits that will come from this change :)
