"When working with a client that is trying to figure out why their online traffic has declined or struggled to pick up in the first place, we first want to understand what their company's core offering is, what their desired results are, and what they've been doing so far to achieve them. The first step will be to assess their current strategy - find out what's working, and what isn't. A number of tools can be implemented to measure their website, online ranking, traffic and conversion history. Next will be a comparison of their results to competitors', and finally, we'll look for opportunities being missed by the client and within their space in general. Our goal should be not to overwhelm the client with data, but to provide them with concise, actionable feedback. Simplifying the findings and planning process for the customer will help them to achieve a better, more immediate impact post-audit."
