Most companies post their code of ethics and code of conduct online. This can usually be found online as a pdf, but it is not always in an obvious location on their website. Materials such as these, or their employee handbooks, can give you a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their policies and what it is like to work there. For example, Home Depot says in their Business Code Of Conduct and Ethics, "If you are faced with a situation where you think our Company values or compliance with the law may be in question, you should bring this to the attention of your immediate manager or supervisor, your Human Resource partner, Corporate Compliance, or, if you prefer, you may anonymously report your concern.
