Staying informed is extremely important in order to help HSBC customers to the best of your ability. I read the finance section of news websites and I also follow HSBC on Twitter and LinkedIn for any updates or news.

To offer your interviewer more specific details, I suggest naming a couple of the specific news websites you are read regularly. Also, in the second sentence of your response, you move from "I" to "you" language. Try to stick to first-person pronouns (I, me, my) so your answer remains personalized to you.
