If hired at Google, you may become privy to trade secrets, pending patents, and other innovative projects that must remain confidential. Talk to the interviewer about your willingness to sign an agreement. If you are currently under a non-disclosure or non-compete agreement with your present employer or have been at any time in the past, now is the time to discuss that.
