What would you do in your first month of working here?

By having an answer prepared, you can show the interviewer that you are ready to get started on your goals right away. Do some background research to learn what would be helpful for the company. Share one or two things you hope to accomplish when starting in this role. Make sure these examples are both ambitious and realistic. Relating examples of how you adjusted quickly and effectively when starting a new job in the past can be an effective way to prove your track record of onboarding into a new company.

"I plan to spend the first month learning as much as possible and getting to know the team I'll be working with. I'll also work on cultivating positive relationships with co-workers. In terms of networking and business development, I'll most likely send out an announcement through LinkedIn and other social media channels to inform my network and ask them to keep me and the company in mind for relevant projects."

"Along with completing on-boarding and training, I hope to make positive connections with all of my clients within the first month of working here.
