A business analyst is a key nexus between the multiple areas within a business, it ensures that solutions or changes are made with the input of all pertinent stakeholders. Although the specifics of the role may vary from company to company the BA is always the driving force in the strive for ongoing improvement. While management sets the strategic course the BA ensures that the solution or changes being implemented are oriented towards the organization's strategic goal.
