You and your partner are staging three blocks from a shooting until law enforcement says it is safe to enter. You have a person run up to your unit and say there is a person who is not breathing in a residence two doors down. What would you do?

"I would tell the person that we are calling dispatch and will be there in just one minute. If my partner were driving, I would ask them to pull up to the house while I notify dispatch. Since we were staging, I feel the person who is not breathing takes precedence, and another unit could be called to stage for the shooting."
