Working as an EMT requires people who are good at working under pressure. If you have worked as an EMT, describe your experience working under pressure and how you handled it. If you have not yet worked as an EMT, use another experience such as working to meet a tight deadline or the pressures of a previous job.
"I work well under pressure. I have been a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the past six months and have been on many stressful calls. I had a call last week where there was a child and dog trapped in a burning motor home. There was an extreme amount of pressure from the family and bystanders to get them out safely. Everyone was screaming at us to do something. Fortunately, we were able to knock down the fire quickly and rescue the child and dog."
