A company's culture demonstrates what they value, how they make decisions, treat others, and their overall goals. The interviewer wants to know if you've done your due diligence in learning more about the company and whether you will be a good fit for the organization. Understanding this is important to the interviewer and for you, too, as a company's culture can help you determine if it is a place you can see yourself working for years to come.
Before your interview, read about the company's culture on their website, social media, by reading reviews from employees and customers, and community news. Share what you learned and assure the interviewer that you have put thought, research, and consideration into how the company culture is aligned with what you are seeking. You can also use this time to ask the interviewer to share more about the company's culture.
