"Theft is a serious offense, and I would address it immediately. In my current role, I witnessed a customer leaving the store with items that they had not paid for. I immediately followed the guidelines outlined by my company and called security. Security apprehended the individual, retrieved the stolen items, and handled the situation from there. Being vigilant and aware of the customers in the store can sometimes help prevent theft."
