"It was important that the PA program I applied to would support my passion for a career in healthcare, give me a well-rounded education, and help me feel at home on campus. When researching Midwestern University, those are the three factors I focused on the most. I conducted a lot of online research and relied heavily on student testimonials. I was pleased to find that Midwestern encapsulated everything I desire in a school and PA program. I appreciate the offering of the clinical simulation center and the options to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team inside and outside the classroom. The idea of mirroring on-site practice is very conducive to how I best learn and will help me build a strong foundation as a PA. Midwestern also delivers a safe feel and a good atmosphere. The school's inclusive approach and desire to ensure students have all the safety nets needed, including counseling and mental health resources, were a big draw for me."
