Think back to any of the founding fathers and mothers of medicine and choose one person who intrigues you the most. Perhaps you'd like to meet someone who discovered, created, or invented a medical breakthrough you greatly admire. Consider what this person did to carve a name for themselves in the medical field and why this resonates with you. It's also a great idea to think of an interesting question you would have for that individual if you had the opportunity to meet.
Whomever you talk about, be sure to provide an answer that exudes passion and interest in the history of medicine and those people who made our lives better through their notable work.

"If I could, I would meet Florence Nightingale, who is considered the founder of modern nursing. She created a whole new field in medicine which is incredible. I admire the way she pioneered the use of presenting statistical data. She also eased how we interpret data and made it accessible to the public. It would be an honor to speak with her and ask how she feels about being known as 'The lady with the lamp.'
