"When studying for exams, I follow a trusted study routine that worked well for me during my undergraduate education. First, I determine what content I feel most uncertain about. Then, I re-write my notes to understand the content better and commit the information to memory. Next, I create flashcards to help me with content that has a dense vocabulary. When possible, I work with classmates to discuss concepts I struggle with. On topics that I am more comfortable with, I find that teaching other students helps me reinforce my knowledge on a topic. Overall, my academic success comes from how organized I keep my notes and how diligent I am with attending class. I take notes during lectures, review my notes at home, read the textbooks if applicable, and then take more notes if needed. My approach has been successful so far, as reflected in my overall GPA, and I am eager to continue this success during my studies at Midwestern."
