"Experiencing a setback is disappointing and can be very disheartening, especially when it involves a project that has taken a significant amount of time and effort. I understand that PA school is challenging and am realistic in knowing I will experience academic setbacks. When I experience a major setback, I take a few moments to debrief and get some fresh air, if possible. I also have a mentor that I can call to review the scenario and discuss what I could have done differently. Rather than dwell on setbacks, I choose to learn from them and move forward."
