I graduate on May 11th with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. I have had many valuable clinical experiences with various Cleveland Clinic facilities and Summa Health Systems. I completed my preceptorship on a hematology/oncology unit where I learned how to prioritize my nursing care and become confident in my abilities to coordinate care for my patient assignment. All of these experiences have helped prepare me for success in this role with University Hospitals.

I worked in __________, and then took classes in Anatomy and Physiology, and
Medical Terminology and was promoted as a Coder. I did this for 5 years. This education was helpful to
my coding position for understanding medical terms in my work. I was encouraged to go to school
for a degree in Medical Records with an emphasis on Coding.
