Sutter Health requires a criminal background check and drug test that must be passed before we can offer you employment. Do you consent to these requirements?

"I have a clean criminal record and am happy to comply with any background check you require of me. Also, I have never used drugs, so I will have no problem passing a drug test."

"I have a misdemeanor on my record from 15 years ago. I am happy to continue in the interview process and comply with your background checks should you allow for some exceptions. However, I have never used drugs, so my drug test will return negative."

You will not be offered the job if you have a criminal background or substance abuse problem. You will need to find another line of work if you have either of these. If you have no criminal background or drug problem, assure the interviewer that you will have no trouble meeting their requirements.
