"Being a recent graduate and new to my career, I cannot say I have received any customer service-specific training. With that said, I believe my service instinct is strong, and I know what type of service I like to receive from my bank. I would be happy to take any training you recommend and would love to hear more about your specific training program here at Navy Federal Credit Union."

Marcie's Feedback
This is a strong answer because you come across as enthusiastic, client-focused, a fast learner, and personable. Since the question specifically relates to customer service training, however, consider providing more details about the kind of training you have received during your career so far. If you didn't receive any formal training, you can state that and talk more about how you educated yourself.

Well with Publix one of the things we are taught is premier customer service. Our slogan is where shopping is a pleasure. We will go out of our way to make sure the customer is happy. Being in the bakery and making cakes I dealt with customers on the phone and in person taking their cake orders, remembering their names, and making them feel welcome.

Chad's Feedback
This answer is off to a great start! You do well to talk about the importance of customer service in your current role, and the ways you deliver personalized customer service. However, since the question specifically relates to customer service training, your response would be more impactful by including details on any formal training you have received in the area of customer service. If you have not received formal training, let the interviewer know that and talk more about how you educated yourself instead. This question also presents a great opportunity to ask the interviewer about their company-specific customer service training.
Prepare for behavioral and service-focused questions that Navy Federal interviewers prioritize.
