They have also provided a lower cost and great benefit for pharmacy insurance plans. For this question, your interviewer will be looking to hear that you have a basic understanding of the business of Express Scripts and how your job can help in that mission. Talk about the benefits that they provide to customers over their competition and how you are a believer in this model.

"Having worked in a large retail pharmacy that more often than not didn't put the needs of the customer first, Express Scripts' business model is very refreshing to me. I love the fact the mail prescription service is saving both customers and insurance providers millions of dollars on an annual basis, helping to keep coverage costs low for the majority of the population. As well, the use of generic drugs and a great network of retail pharmacies keep options open for the clients here and this is a business model I would love to be a part of. As a Pharmacist, I truly believe that the patients needs must come first and that is very apparent "
