How do you manage a large workload?
The interviewer wants to know whether you can handle the workload and won't become overwhelmed or suffer from task procrastination or task paralysis when things become more stressful. On one of Dnata's blogs, one of their employees states, "The only way to be able to maintain a busy schedule is to work smarter instead of harder." When workloads increase, stress levels do too. So think about your prior work experience and what you've done to collect yourself and increase your productivity when under pressure.
"When I have a large workload, I do not stress over the tasks in front of me. Rather, I make a simple plan of which tasks are a high priority and which are a lower priority. The higher priority tasks I complete first. Through this system, I can focus on my tasks individually, rather than stress out by the tasks ahead of me."
"When I have a large workload, I examine my goals and how they correlate to the goal of the team, and I sort them by priority. I also objectify what needs to be done, examine my time, and break up my tasks accordingly. Then I dive in. I hate task paralysis and refuse to allow it to impact my work. I just get started and act."
