Cintas Corporation values philanthropy and community giving. How do you choose to give back to others?
The interviewer would like to know that you are socially responsible and a team player - even outside of the workplace. Your answer can be as simple as babysitting your grand-kids every Sunday, to a standing-volunteer gig, to charitable contributions.
"I work a lot but, when I do have free time, I spend that with my grand-kids. It helps to give my son a bit of a break as he is a full-time single dad. In addition to this, I volunteer at the local drop-in center every Christmas to help feed the homeless. Giving back is very important to me."
"Volunteering and charitable acts are important to me. I spend time volunteering at the local drop-in center every Sunday."

One example of a way that I give back to the community is that I am a volunteer. I put in time at my local hospital ___________. My role was inpatient advocacy concerning patient rights and overall well being. I also volunteer at my local church, participating in various drives for the needy during Christmas and Thanksgiving. I feel that I continue to do well in giving back to my community and hope to do more in the future.

You offer a pretty good overview; however, the detail could be stronger, as could the ending. I have provided an example, below.
I am an avid volunteer. I donated my time to _________ for (dates or timeline?). My role was inpatient advocacy concerning patient rights and overall well being (further explain the draw/results/impact). I also volunteer at my church, participating in various drives for the underserved during Christmas and Thanksgiving. Giving back to my community is important to me, which is why I appreciate the efforts of Cintas (show an understanding of what they do exactly), and I look forward to participating in these efforts in the future.

Serving the community is important to me. Every year I participate in holiday food drives and food banks and volunteer with my daughter's Girl Scout troop on weekends. Last year when COVID began I got a list of elderly Temple members to call, to check up on them or get them supplies if needed.

Excellent--it is evident that community giving is important to you! To strengthen the impact of this response, I suggest adding a closing sentence to round out your response by specifically stating your commitment to the community. For example: "Engaging in my community and giving back in meaningful ways is an important aspect of my life, both personally and professionally."
