As I am a big-picture and idea-oriented person, her planned and detail-oriented approach made it difficult to propose capital project funding at times. I had to adapt my approach to outlining my planning and projected funding for new projects. I spent extra time in my research to ensure that no rework ever needed to happen with capital budget proposals, and we had a great working relationship because of my ability to adapt my style."
