QUESTION 24 OF 35

With many options available in security services, why do you want to work for Allied Universal?

There are security jobs of all kinds available to you, so the interviewer would like to know why you have chosen to apply for a role with Allied Universal. This question allows you to shine and show off all of the research you have performed on their business before your interview. Come up with a couple of compelling reasons why Allied Universal stands apart from its competitors. If you give a canned response such as 'you have a good reputation,' your answer will fall flat. Be specific and genuine.

"One reason Allied Universal stands out to me as a wonderful employer is that your training program is second to none. You offer a range of continued education opportunities such as (list from website). I admire and value your focus on employee development and continued education."

"Allied Universal is the undeniable giant in the security industry in our area. I have been planning my job search since I left the military and wanted to join an organization that was well-known and well-supported by the community, with a strong client list. There are so many growth opportunities here, which truly excites me."

Focus on providing one or two main reasons you chose Allied Universal over other agencies. The interviewer wants to hear a compelling reason you chose their company to determine if you will be an excellent asset to their team.
