If you have restrictions in your schedule, this is the best time to mention your scheduling needs. You should be to the point and give a clear breakdown of what you are willing and able to do when it comes to your work schedule. It's essential to keep your wording positive. So, rather than stating what you can't do - start with what you can.

You may wish to also add in a sentence such as, "However, I am flexible and would be happy to discuss the potential of additional hours, should I be extended an offer." I generally encourage people to be as vague as possible with these types of questions in the early stages of an interview process (unless you are pressed for a more detailed response. Once you have an offer in hand, you have a little more leverage in this.
