Depending on the role to which you are applying, you may be required to be armed on the job. If you have experience with firearms, be sure to outline your knowledge and be prepared to verify any current licensing or certifications. If you are new to firearms, that is okay too! Discuss whether you are interested in firearm training and working your way into a role where this is a requirement.

My experience with firearms is extensive. For 25 years I participated in the Federal Bureau of Prisons firearms recertifications; P-38, 9mm Ruger, 12gauge single barrel shotgun, M-16. Properly loading and unloading a firearm, experiencing tactical and emergency loads/reloads.
I possess my own personal protection 9mm, which I routinely maintain proficiency with. On a scale of 1-10, it would be a 10.
