Tell me something about you that is not on your resume.

It is hard to fit all of your accomplishments and achievements on your resume. The interviewer wants to go deeper into your background and learn more about your personality and attributes to determine if you will be a good fit for their organization. Some examples are to describe your company loyalty or share a personal hobby or activity you enjoy doing. If you will be working in a team environment, you could mention how you were the captain of a sports team, the editor of a school newspaper, or a member of the debate team.

"Something that is not on my resume, but I am proud of, is I have volunteered as a coach for my son's soccer team for the past five years. When I took over as coach, the team had never won a game. Since I began coaching, the team has won 80% of their games. The players' morale, skills, and team spirit have also improved greatly."
