"Last year we opened three new locations in Austin, Texas at the same time, which meant we needed a huge hiring push. We had more than 100 positions to fill. I was offered the opportunity to travel to Texas and take part in the job fair we held at a local facility and it was a blast. For three days, I spent more than 12 hours in a room filled with people excited to learn about our company and the positions we had available. They were long days, but it was impossible not to feed off the energy of the crowd. I really enjoyed talking with each person who stopped by my table to ask questions and fill out an application. Plus, it was like having informal mini-interviews with everyone before I'd even reviewed their resumes.
