Why did you choose a career in SEO marketing?

"I initially chose a career path in sales and landed in marketing after completing a business development contract for a client who was heavily involved in the influencer marketing sector. I loved the idea of helping a business put together a branding and development strategy. From there, I started taking an interest in brand visibility, which led me to do some research about SEO. I enrolled in a few online classes and excelled in that area, so it's what I've continued to pursue."

This should be one of the easiest questions in your interview. Just be honest! Discuss what led you to your field, who or what influenced you, and how your career lines up with your attributes and professional strengths. If your path to SEO marketing was indirect or non-traditional, that's okay!
