"One of the most difficult treatment plans I created with the help of other medical professionals was for a young soldier who lost both of his legs while fighting overseas. In addition to losing his legs, he was also blinded and partially paralyzed. I worked with occupational therapists to help him use his prosthetics and relearn everyday skills, developmental optometrists to assess his vision, and psychologists to help with his mental issues. Once he acquired everyday skills, I worked with vocational therapists to assist him in finding a job."
