Math is goal-oriented because students are working to arrive at the correct answer. There are multiple ways. I have an opportunity to change the way students feel towards Math. Many students walk into Math class with negative feelings. Maybe they struggle with math, or maybe they find it boring. I can make it exciting and relevant. I can help students perform to the best of their abilities, so they leave my classroom with a new feeling towards math.
