I realized the importance of doing so when my direct supervisor analyzed the report and homed in on any discrepancies that were greater than five or more items.
I remember one situation in which several items were not coded correctly in the point of sale system. It was addressed immediately, and the discrepancy wasn't the result of an employee stealing."
