Can you explain the most important lesson you’ve learned as a loss prevention officer?

Provide an example of a lesson you learned early on as a loss prevention officer. If possible, choose an example that has benefited you just as much as it has benefitted the company you work for.

"Early in my career, I had a vision of what a thief looked like, but, in my experience, people have surprised me. I've dealt with employees and customers from all walks of life who have been caught stealing. I've learned to remain vigilant."
