How do you organize information in a situation where there is no definitive answer but you are required to present the “best†option?
As an associate, you may be given assignments for which the law has not been clearly defined. The partner wants to understand the different arguments and will make the ultimate call on which approach to pursue. Their job is made easier if your research is complete and organized and you have given thought to a potentially successful outcome. Your answer should include information about your legal research and writing skills and display confidence in your critical thinking.
