"One of the biggest challenges I faced in my previous job was being understaffed. This meant that I often had to wear many hats. Being responsible for multiple tasks allowed me to develop skills in other areas but often hindered my creativity."

"In my most recent role working for Company A, the project coordinator for the magazine deadlines was very demanding. He would expect unreasonably fast turnarounds. For example, for the December issue, we discussed layouts of charts and photos on a Monday afternoon, and he expected to see something on his desk by Tuesday end of the business day. My team and I had to work all night Monday and all of Tuesday to meet the deadline. While we had no problem working hard, additional time could have allowed for additional creativity. It was also imperative that my designers and illustrators stayed in touch throughout the process to avoid missing any steps. I learned that communication is key and realistic deadlines are necessary."
