What experience do you have with stocking shelves?
Depending on the role you've applied for at Woolworths, you may be responsible for assisting with restocking shelves. This is more of a technical question, so a brief and direct answer is appropriate. Share with the interviewer what settings you have experience in and what some of your day-to-day related duties were/are.
"In my current role, I'm a warehouse stocker associate. I replenish shelves and floor inventories to full conditions daily. I most often restock the produce section, but also frequently am responsible for restocking the shelves of bread. In the back store stock room, I update labels with price and UPC information and report any issues or discrepancies to my supervisor. I'm also familiar with how to execute inventory product rotation. I'm very comfortable with these types of duties and feel like my experience would add value to the Woolworths team."
"I've been a day stocker at another supermarket for about two years. In this role, I stock all merchandise and replace misplaced items to their proper locations. I check the shelf labels frequently to ensure pricing is accurate, especially during sales. If we are short-staffed, I will also help unload trucks and keep the stockroom area neat and tidy during deliveries. I'm responsible for rotating all merchandise when stocking to ensure freshness and quality and general straightening up of the shelves."
