If a customer approached you at our supermarket, asking for a meal recommendation, what would you do?

Shoppers at Woolworths may be curious about new brands or products they have never come across. They may ask you what it is, how to cook it, or what it tastes like. All of this is part of your customer service duty when working for Woolworths. The interviewer would like to know if you would be friendly and helpful and provide recommendations. There is no real right or wrong answer here, but you should avoid sounding utterly stumped.

"If a customer asked me for a meal recommendation, I would ask a couple of discovery questions such as 'what kind of foods do you dislike?' and 'do you have any food allergies?' From there, I would give them my favorite chicken alfredo recipe, with recommendations to tweak it if they were lactose intolerant, or a vegetarian. I love to cook so it would be fun to help people decide what is for dinner!"

"I love to barbeque so most of my meal recommendations would be simple and easy. Protein, lots of seasonal vegetables, and a delicious potato dish. I may not be the best cook, but the few recipes that I do know are delicious."
