Tell me about a time communication became an issue when working on a team.

"I worked on a team to solve a problem that could have potential effects on our ability to grow the business and reach our goals. Each person on the team was tasked with a different aspect, such as gathering and analyzing data. We came together to discuss the results but couldn't seem to agree. We were struggling to listen to each person's opinion. I explained my observation and suggested we give each person a chance to discuss their findings and opinions, which helped us take a more collaborative approach."

"In my last role as an Account Manager, there was a time when a customer's account was not properly credited with money that they paid us, which caused a huge issue with that customer. There were communication issues amongst the team, and that miscommunication caused a problem with the customer's account. To fix this, I gathered the team in a conference room to find the trail of what went wrong without pointing fingers at anyone. We were able to find what happened and get the customer squared away.
